As well as the BDL, Ilkeston compete in the highly competitive Nottinghamshire AAA league. This is the club's second season in the league and features more rewarding, flatter courses than the BDL series.

After a postponement at Hexgreave (now re-dated to July), Newark kicked off the season with a big turnout of over 500 runners with a whole host of clubs across the region including some familiar border-town clubs to us. Andy Aiston was first home for IRC with 71st place.

Neil Cort, produced a wonderful performance rewarded with a 128th place finish and was shortly followed by an entourage of Red & White with Darran Furness, Ryan Ball, Ray Robinson, Dave Jones, Dan Follon & Richard Iliffe all coming in with two minutes of one-another to produce a great Masters Men's Team result.

A huge shout out to Lynne Sewards with a 53th overall ladies finish, notably 2nd place in her age category. The full results can be found here.
